About Us
Eileen Barbieri is internationally known for her highly successful Saluki breeding program, which she began in the early 1970's and continued with under the "Andi" prefix for over 20 years. She was named one of the Top Ten breeders of Champion Salukis for the last decade of the last century -- even though she bred her last litter in December of 1994. That litter in itself produced six champions. She began her transition from Salukis to Pugs in the mid-1980's, and continues to delight in the pure joy that Pugs bring into her life.
.Joy Barbieri, Eileen's daughter, has developed a very succesful Pug Breeding program. She competed in the Junior Handling ring and the Conformation ring during her childhood, bringing numerous dogs to their championships in that time. Joy graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, with a BA in English and has since earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. She is a New York State Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. She also breeds Havanese.
